Richard
Miles has been creating results for over
25 years. He has outperformed expectations his entire
career.
In
1980 he was a founding member of Adaptive
Controls, Inc. and as CEO, in
1984 sold it to Ingersoll-Rand, merging
it into their building controls division.
|
In
1987 he became VP of Sales & Marketing
for the computer products
division of Polaroid where he helped successfully
turn a perennial money-loser into a profitable division in
the face of intense foreign competition. In
1990 he founded Re:Launch,
and helped companies like IBM, Hitachi, Intuit,
Computer Associates, Memorex and many others find
new markets, develop profitable channels, introduce new
products, and more.
Along
the way he helped one client go public via IPO, another go
public via reverse merger, still others raise private equity
and venture capital.
He
authored The Official
Software Channel Sales Guidebook, a 300-page
how-to manual often called the "bible" of software
sales. He published The
StoreCheck Report from
1992 - 1996, detailing trends in the technology industry.
He
remains a popular speaker at industry conferences including
the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Softex, Geocon
